An addition to MicroStrategy 2020 Update 2 is a new “Ring Chart” (AKA Donutย Chart). Basically. it’s a variation of “everyone’s favorite” – the PIE Chart. If I have to show data with a “pie-like” viz, then 99% of the time I tend to use this Ring Chart rather than a Pie Chart. Another advantage is a Ring Chart gives you a much better “Ink to Data Ratio” compared to a traditional Pie Chart.ย
